Service Sire:

Felicity is like no other alpaca in so many ways! I originally found her in another state with a profile with no picture. She's my diamond in the rough!

She's a Pinto Appaloosa pattern, whose sire was ... Appaloosa pattern, whose sire was...
........................Mr. Antonio, whose sire was...
.............................Peruvian Hemingway G171

Felicity has straight legs and is alert. 1/2 Acero Marka's Bolivian bloodline on her dam's side. She is has a different personality and marches to the tune of a different drum than the rest of the herd & she doesn't care! She mostly rests in the barn at intervals through the daytime, grazes by herself in the evenings or early mornings! She sometimes does #1 in the established poop piles but poop in the established poop piles, of course not! She makes her own piles whenever & wherever she decides!

She isn't one to be bothered eating hand fed snacks as she's a busy lady with her own agenda, but when she gets around to it, she likes grain and hay. She is more tame than the average alpaca & is fine with having her back scratched but kisses, forget it! She loves to babysit crias & will take them for a walk when new moms need a rest. A new item for her resume as of Jan. 2016: Felicity has been open for 2 years and apparently has come in to milk, as a cria nurses on her occasionally.

Her fiber is soft, probably a Grade 2-SOFT though shorter stapled and she produces a small shear weight, in 2014 at age 7 1/2 her sorted, and graded blanket was 17 ounces. That is one area that needs to be bred up. Her primary color is white & as described by her former owner, her MB spots sometimes look purple outdoors. Her fleece, though small is one of my favorites to card and spin. There's just never enough of it!

She's open, but I plan a spring breeding with a herdsire with another appaloosa bloodline.
